Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of the Levia app and related services from Evliea ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Levia you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Levia is
Levia helps you keep track of shared expenses and work out who owes whom. Levia does not hold, move or process money. Settlements in the app are records that you and your group members agree to. When you choose to pay someone, the payment happens in a separate app, such as a UPI app, and is between you and that person. We are not a bank, payment provider or financial adviser, and we are not responsible for payments made outside Levia.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter into these terms where you live.
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
Using Levia
Please do not:
- use Levia for anything unlawful, or to harass, defraud or mislead others;
- add people to groups or send them messages they have not agreed to receive;
- try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service, or access accounts that aren't yours;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows.
Your content
You own what you enter into Levia, such as group names and expense details. You give us permission to store and display it to the members of your groups, as needed to run the service. Other members of a group can see the group's expenses and balances, so only add what you are happy for them to see.
Accuracy of calculations
Levia works out balances from what you and your group record. If expenses are missing or wrong, the results will be too. Scanning a receipt is a convenience and is not always accurate — please check amounts before saving.
Ads and third-party services
Levia shows ads and uses third-party services for sign-in, notifications and hosting. These are described in our Privacy Policy. Links in the app to other apps or sites are not under our control.
Ending your use
You can stop using Levia and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access to accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk.
No warranty and limit of liability
Levia is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from disputes between users or from payments made outside the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will tell you in the app. Using Levia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
